Buoyant!

In these troubled times when it becomes increasingly clear to me that becoming a "professional artist" just might not put food on the table, I felt like doing something to lift the spirits. So I created a lady who doesn't care about all that. She's in her moment and has managed to find her bliss. Ahhhhhh......

She's a day brightener! Our society seems to be overun with images now. I think it takes more than tallent to get noticed. Do you feel your pictures are trying to capture the divine present in ordinary things? I sort of get that from them, but I wonder if the rest of the world is too inured to pause long enough to see that. It's a quiet thing.

Hi Pat!
How nice to hear from you!
I left a comment on your blog... but I'm not sure where... I can't seem to find it now! I'm useless at finding my way around blogs and pretty bad at posting to my own!

Hi Morgan, I apologize for not acknowledging your comment. I really do appreciate that you have taken the time to do so! And yes, I love ordinary things - trying to find the beauty in things we look at everyday, but seldom "see". I try not to take anything for granted and am a big fan of stopping to smell the roses.
